The Bad person (Phorbes) will die horribly and tragically.
The town will go back to some other dilemma, to keep viewer interest.
The 4 main characters will be alive to tackle some new problems..

man , i cant wait but i have to… Sam hopefully finds an escaoe I think sookie is being sacrificed also either her or sam but really since sam is a transformative what ever hes called, sookie will kill him instead of being sacrificed by the god woman. then she will not have a choice but to leave the town or somehow she will think of her self not as a god anymore.. man i hope there is a third season.

sookie is the one that the manites (or whatever their called) has been looking for she is the one that will raise up the god, but she’s not going to die she’s one of the main characters. She’s gonna become a vampire eventually. I hope she doesn’t get with eric though!

I DO hope Sookie ends up with Eric in the T.V. series. Apparently she does in the books, and so far they’ve been following the books pretty well I hear…
I absolutely LOVE Eric! Bill is a total puss. Douchebag for sure.
And she’s NOT going to become a vampire because she’s already a fairy.

dude, eric is so much better than bill, bill pisses me off most of the time, you’ll soon see eric is quite a good thing for sookie.
also don’t worry, sam isn’t gonna die, neither is sookie, but i have no idea what’s gonna happen.
Finally the meanad thing is gonna end, it dragged on for sooooooooo long, she was only mentioned like, twice, in the book. wohooo!!

I think eggs will be the one who dies. He died in the books. The show is exactly like the books in some ways and very different in others but i think eggs is the only person that could be killed everyone else is to big a part of the whole story.

Jessica is my guess as to who dies. She’s not in the book series and has been totally made up for the TV series. She’s already despondent from losing Hoyt and discovering she’ll be a virgin forever. It’s just a coin toss as to whether she will sacrifice herself or get killed accidentally.
I can’t think of any other supernatural they could kill off without ruining further plots from the books. Lafayette is always on borrowed time because he died in the books but he’s such a huge character in the series because of the actor playing him. That man needs an Emmy, he’s awesome.

Has no-one considered that Eric comes back with the Queen in toe and with the help of Bill they glammer the whole town which stops the town folk for believing in Maryann? She only survives because people believe her to be a god, and without the belief of the town people Maryann can’t force her will on them?
As for sookie, she’s not a two-natured person but she does have something in her blood and people who have read the book will know what.
but seeing how the producers haven’t kept to the book, who really knows? We’ll just have to wait and see…..lol

Eggs Kills Tara…that’s what I think…it is Eggs that has the knife and completes the sacrifice…also Tara is the one who called her and the one she also wanted…remember the convo Maryanne had with Sam…as to what she wanted…and the weird tarot card…Tara and Eggs live in the books but her cousin dies…plus that scene was a part of a plot for a sex club in which Laf dies in the beginning and Maryanne’s character kills everyone at the end…so it is not following the book and I have no clue how things will turn out…

Is Episode 12 the end of the season or is there more to come? I watch them On Demand, so i don’t get to see previews for next week….therefore have no clue what is going on. I know no new ones have been on for a few weeks.

I feel that HBO used the books as a great road map. They fill in all of the gaps between what Sookie experiences in the books and what her friend experience when she’s not around. There are a few minor changes which allow for actor usage and motive but the seasons have generally followed the books thus far. I believe Eric and Sookie will get together because she will find out that Bill has betrayed her. Sookie will struggle with the Eric thing for many books and is still a questionable issue after 9 books. I’ve seen a whole bunch of book (season) three foreshadowing this season so I think they will still generally follow the plot line in the books. I’m surprised to see the queen of Louisiana so early and the introduction of Hadley in her lair. Can’t wait for many seasons of True Blood.

This has got to be my fav HBO series by far I have not read the books yet. Everyone say Eric, Eric, Eric He is Hot but a total bad ass and sookie is so pure. I just dont see them as a couple. Bill is just trying to co-exist with humans. I love watching the two of them together. Feel sorry for Tara and Eggs. Love this show just never know what is going to happen next. CANT WAIT TILL NEXT SEASON. Guess I am going to have to buy the Books But worried that will ruin the Series for me.

This season really didn’t follow that plot line of the books. Granted there was a maenad, but the part was completely different in the books. I suggest reading the series to everyone because there is such a difference. It will be interesting to see what they do in future seasons. I love this show and the books…can’t wait for the next installation of both!

I hope Bill is okay and I definitely think that Eric is behind the kidnap, if he actually did it or not I’m not sure. And I’m so glad Mary Anne is dead. That bitch was crazy.
I can’t believe the queen is the one having Eric sell V! Btw I LOVE Evan Rachel Wood as the queen. She’s sublime.

It was Sookie’s grandfather that kidnapped Bill. Because Sookie is part fairy and vamps and fairy dont like each other, he did it to protect her. He (and other fairy’s) have helped Sookie before ie. the chain around the guy’s neck. At least that how it goes on the books

Well, I personally hope that nothing happens with Bill and Sookie’s love. They are wonderful together and Bill is such a romantic and true gentleman. In fact they are engaged to be married in real life. I was sad to see Eggs die, he was soo good to Tara, when not under the influence of Mary Ann and by the way, I am so glad that she if finally off the show! That dragged on forever! I was getting tired of her. I think Bill’s maker is the one that kidnapped him. It has to be her or Eric. I love this show. My husband and I watch it faithfully.

It’s obvious that many of you have not read the books. Although the series has greatly embellished the story line, I cannot picture Sookie wih anyone other than Eric. Bill doesn’t deserve her regardless or his pofessed love. The fact that he was going to leave her without a word – marks him dead it my book.

Where can get the books? I am a reader and love to read what happens before it does and see the changes. I was able to see season 1 but missed season 2. I had no cable. My favorite is Sookie, Tara and the one who changes ino the cute little dog. Would love to find out more.
