I loved that when Eric came downstairs to attack Terry bellefleur (I think it was him so dark) he was blatantly having his hair highlighted upstairs! The foil looked so funny!
This is so much darker than Charlaine Harris, I’m loving it!

Lafayette isn’t the corpse – why? -_-; I mean I love him, I hate that he died in the book, and aside from the orgy link it really doesn’t matter who’s dead. I liked the story behind Lafayette’s death in the book, now Eric’s got him and I just have no idea where they’re gonna go with this.

Wow, its quite different to the books but good in a way cuz you can watch the show like new cuz you’re not sure whats gonna happen next.

It was a great epi… but is anyone else disappointed that its not quite like the book? I mean “Tara” isnt even introduced to what book 3 or 4? And she isn’t Sookies bff in the books. *rant over*

I want more Eric!!! He is my favorite character in the books. He is so complex and beautifully tragic. I can’t wait until he gets more screen time. Glad to se him in the S2 premiere.

it is getting significantly less soapy, which is nice. i love what sam said to sookie about how shes either yelling at him or apologizing i love the show but god it was turning into days of our lives.

THIS SERIES IS SO INTENSELY ADDICTIVE IN MY POINT OF VIEW, MY FATHERS AS WELL. THE VAMPIRE ANGLE HAS BEEN SO PLAYED OUT OVER THE YEARS THAT ITS REFRESHING HOW INCREDIBLE THIS SHOW IS GETTING TO BE EVERY WEEK. I SIMPLY CANT WAIT SEVEN DAYS ITS TORTURE…BUT ITS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. THE BEST HBO SERIES EVER BY FAR IN MY BOOK, AND THATS SAYING ALOT, TRUST ME! I loved the books. The series is definitely a different story, but also good. Now we have two vampire stories to follow! Eric is beyond hot in the books (I’m in love) I hope he is just as hot in the series. LOVE this site

omg, I live in england and came across true blood on FX last friday and fell totally in love with it!!!! I have just watched the first season in the last 2 days aswell aha. i have spent 20.00 so far this month renting the dvds from season 1(3-4), season 1(5-7), season 1 (8-10) and season 1 episodes 11-12. boy, i wish i would have known about this site. but, i just got my computer last week and internet service yesterday. my favorite characters would be the killer drew, the bar owner sam and tara with her crazy mom.
this must be the reason theree isn’t hardly anyone in the blockbuster and hollywood rentals.

Angela, in reference to when Eric was getting his hair highlighted up stairs he does not go down to Terry Bellefleur because Terry is in more epsiodes of True Blood. Remember the episode where the three stupid drukn men are in the bar and Lafyette goes out to the table and says “Who ordered the burger with aids” and the guy says I ordered the burger. Well the man that Eric went down for was that man. Not Terry. Though that was a dark scene. I love Eric’s new hair cut however. I felt terrible later in the season when Godrick had to die. Though it was beautiful when he did die. It was not at all terrible. The blue that surrounded him was gorgeous. I did cry though, when Eric cried over his maker. That was a very emotional part for me.

I watch alot of television series but True Blood is by far the best, and that is saying alot. I’m so glad that Lafayette isn’t the corps!! Addicted to the show hope it never ends!
