   in the book it wasn’t a minotaur, but that looks a whole lot different from what was in the book.

   i realy hope theyget a larger special fx budget, for this 2nd season , other than that, this series has all the ingredients to be a huge hit,tho i realise that not everyone is in to vamps and shit, but every one is talking aobut it. shit! even my mom that watches drama soap is talking about this show… omg

   I have read the first 7 books in the series, getting ready to buy 8 & 9 cause I am addicted. In the book its not a minotaur, and I can’t remember what its called but it is something supernatural (don’t wanna give away a spoiler). I cannot wait until the new season starts!

   I hope that wasn’t a werewolf, that would just be nasty. I’m pretty sure it’s a meinrad, or something like that. I didn’t think that happened in the second book, then again, I haven’t read the book in quite some time. Can’t wait for the second season!!

    It’s a MAENAD (look it up on Wikipedia), not a werewolf and def not a minotaur. And if I remember right, the maenad actually approached Sookie and talked to her first in the books before it attacked.

    Kamikaze Kitty, I just looked up Maenad on wikipedia, and it wasn’t anything supernatural, just women dedicated to dionysus. Could someone tell me what that was supposed to be?

    I think its that women that was helping out Terra because in one of the episodes, she was meditating with a boar and having really fast seizure like thing.
    I think Lafayette was killed by Bill because he said he “fed” and I think it was already metioned by the director. Those are my guesses.

    I don’t think it was bill that attacked Lafayette. It doesn’t make sense. Lafayette jumped on a trash bin as if he was getting away from a lower (dangerous) animal, such as a dog or wolf. He has also had an encounter with Bill before, I doubt he would be as shocked by him as they made he appear. I’m thinking something new. I believe the series had Bill say that when he did to make people believe it was him. Almost how people were thinking Sam was a killer (at least for a small moment there).

    I’m thinking wolf (werewolf), I haven’t read the books, this is just how I observed it.

    That dark creature does look like a minotaur, except they don’t have talons. I can’t honestly remember such a creature in any mythology I’ve read. (And I know greek, norse, welsh, japanese, african, and some native american)

    For some strange reason, I think that Maryann has something to do with that minotaur. She had an affinity for both Sookie and Daphne and I suspect something is up. Oh well, I guess I’ll just wait and see what happens.
